Let’s be honest, this week all other news paled in comparison as we tuned in to the latest in the News of the World phone-hacking scandal. A scandal there was, so much so, a few big names in the travel industry fell victim to the latest craze of twitter rage. Butlins, First Choice holidays, The Co-Operative Travel and easyJet were all blasted via microblogs for advertising in the scandal-ridden newspaper. Clearly words speak louder in this instance as advertising was promptly pulled as the weekend arrived.

On a lighter note, the Harry Potter premiere for the final installment (so, very excited!) hit London amongst the news that Harry has been boozing it up for the last few years. For those of us who were a little concerned about where the next Harry Potter fix might come from we were reminded about the Harry Potter Wizarding World Theme Park in Orlando, Florida, which recently celebrated it’s first birthday.
