This week, we take a look at the news that London has been named the greatest city on earth and the quite brilliant news that Virgin has launched a Richard Branson shaped ice cube…
The views of tourists are always worth listening too and in their eyes they have voted London as the best city in the world, according to Trip Adviser. Whilst the landmarks are well known and will always attract people to its shores, the fact that there is so much going on in the capital throughout 2012 surely must also go someway to explain its recent popularity. The Olympics and the Royal Jubilee will follow on from last years Royal Wedding and as result London’ popularity will only grow stronger as the year goes on.
Richard Branson is no stranger to publicity stunts. However, his latest decision to create an ice-cube in the shape of his head to fill the glasses of first class passengers may be the barmiest of the lot. Throughout May, upper class passengers will able to have their drinks cooled by the multimillionaire’s head, a design which took a team of four designers six weeks to recreate.
Sounds very nice to us…
