Turkey is one of the most popular holiday destinations for Brits and continues to attract sun and party lovers all year round. Everyone knows that it can more then cater for certain groups of holidaymakers, but what about kids? If you want a cheap Turkey holiday that the kids will love too, head to Istanbul.
Get up close and personal with Dolphins
Despite being big, wet and unable to speak English, everyone loves dolphins. When in Istanbul, your kids will be the ones dragging you to the dolphinarium if not the other way round! It is home to six pools with dolphins, white whales and seals being the main attractions. Children can even get in the water and swim with the dolphins too.
Climb the Galata Towers
You do not have to do anything that impressive to impress children. So with this in mind, take them up to the top of the Galata Towers. From this lofty position you’ll see a 360 view of the city of Istanbul and it will be a good opportunity for the kids to get the camera out.
Visit the Grand Bazaar
Children will quickly get bored if they are not entertained. So if you want somewhere that never stops, is full of sights, sounds and smells that their little noses, ears and eyes would not be use to, head to the famous Grand Bazaar.
Visit Prince’s Islands
Whilst you want the little ones to have fun, as a parent you will be worried about keeping them safe too. Therefore, head to the car-free Prince’s Islands. There is the opportunity to explore the lovely quaint villages by horse and cart and is a really relaxing way to explore the surroundings.
