5. – Halikarnas – Bodrum. The Shangri-La of clubbing in Turkey. Halikarnas is the original and still arguably the best place to get your dance on. The club attracts top DJ’s every season and boasts gorgeous architecture and even better location in Bodrum.

6. – Buzz Bar – Olu Deniz. The stylish Buzz Bar is one of Turkey’s best beach bars. Fresh seafood on the menu, cocktails made to perfection, fresh sea air, and a rooftop terrace with a gorgeous view. A firm favourite, so although popular, still worth treating yourself to a margarita.

About Elaine says:

Halikarnas in Bodrum was closed in season 2011. I believe there is a dispute over the land so it is unlikely to open again in the forseeable future.

About Joy (My Turkish Joys) says:

No. 8 has changed a bit and is now called Club Arma Restoran and Bar – more fancy restaurant than night club. In Istanbul, 360 or Reina for the views and nightclub experience and Indigo, a small club in Taksim, for dancing.

About Danarelle says:

I am in Bodrum right now. Halikarnas is being rebuilt – its looking pretty amazing. Bigger than before I think. I’ve been told it will be ready in a few weeks – the plastering is going on. I’d probably guesstimate it will be open August. They did want it open this season but building work has taken longer. Please spread the word that it is reopening it is a very important part of bodrums economy!
