The Best Bars in Tenerife

Las Americas

With the promise of sun, sea and sand, it’s not any wonder that all inclusive Tenerife holidays appeal to all manner of tourist. Whether you’re an active family, relaxed couple or group of friends with an insatiable party thirst, Tenerife has got you covered.

Groups of friends wanting nothing other than alcohol-fuelled fun in the sun are the Tenerife holidaymaker we’ll be helping today; with suggestions on where to stay and more importantly, where to drink!

Where to stay

With countless bars and clubs offering cheap, abundant drink deals, Playa de Las Americas is the Canary Island’s hottest destination for a great night out. Las Vistas beach is also located in between Las Americas and the resort of Los Cristianos; perfect for tanning away your hangover.

When to go

The weather in Tenerife is great all year round and as such there are always tourists on the island, meaning the majority of bars will be open accordingly. To get the best atmosphere however, the best time to visit is from mid-June to the end of August.

Where to go

Here are Beat the Brochure’s recommendations for the best bars in Tenerife.

Lineker’s

The world famous Lineker’s Bar is one of the most popular bars in Tenerife. With so much going on across such a big area it’s impossible not to have a good time. Should having a bit of a rave in the main bar area get a bit much, just take your party out on the terrace. There’s plenty of TVs too, showing live sports all day. As good a place to start the night as it is to end it, Lineker’s is a must visit on your Tenerife holidays.

Tramps

The self-proclaimed “King of Clubs”, Tramps is the most popular nightclub in Tenerife. There are VIP areas, guest DJs and its open ‘til 6am! Tramps has three clubs in one so there’s something for everyone in Tenerife’s premier night spot. R’n’B, Dance, House, Chart and Indie Rock, the king of clubs is most definitely the king of variety.

O’Neill’s

O’Neill’s is one of the biggest bars on the Veronicas Strip and definitely isn’t a place for those of you fancying a quiet pint! There are plenty of theme and party nights with gimmicks, drinking games and 2-4-1 deals. As well as the air conditioned bar area, O’Neill’s has a large outdoor terrace, making it an altogether more bearable place to party the night away.

Leonardo’s

A quality bar with live music, nightly entertainment and great prices, Leonardo’s has been described as the best bar to start your nights in, or out for that matter; there’s both indoor and outdoor seating.

Wigan Pier

Who doesn’t love karaoke? Whether you’re belting out your favourite anthem or listening to someone murder theirs, karaoke nights are always great. Karaoke nights are just one of the things offered at the Wigan Pier Pub, which also hosts two quality cabaret acts a night.

Bonkers Bar

A bar designed to get you in the party mood, Bonkers is the place to go and partake in some booze-charged party games. With an indoor bar area and outdoor terrace there’s scenic variety in the establishment that very much takes after its name!

There you have it, these are but a few recommendations of where to go and drink on your Tenerife holidays. With three areas – Starco, Veronicas and The Patch – all revolving around varying degrees of partying, you’re spoilt for choice.
