With Cyprus Tourism saying that Cyprus is in your heart, many of you will be heading off to Paphos over the next few months for some well-earnt relaxation with some lazy days on the beach. So to take even more stress away from you here is a quick guide to the beaches in Paphos.

Alykes Beach. Can be found right in the centre of Paphos surrounded by hotels, bars and restaurants. This beach is popular with families and well, everyone. Perfect if you fancy mixing up your sunbathing and swimming with some lunch, some shopping or a mid-afternoon cocktail.

Pachyammos Beach. Also near to the main buzz of Paphos and basically a smaller version of the Alykes Beach.

Faros Beach. If you don’t fancy being in the centre of it all but fancy a beach with the basics that is also good for families then Faros Beach is for you. Complete with a small but perfectly formed beach bar as well as beach volleyball nets to burn off some of those beers, this beach is exactly what you need for a day out by the sea.

Vrysoudia B Beach. There is an A beach but for those looking for some peace and quiet to relax and read then head to Vrysoudia B beach. It’s not ever going to win the best looking beach award but it does exactly what you ask from it. Sea, sand (mostly) and sunloungers.
