However, anyone who has traveled with kids will know that these attractions don’t always keep the mind occupied for long and attention span can be alot to be desired. Barcelona FC Stadium Tour

For anyone who has breed a footie fanatic, this is the ultimate activity for kids in Barcelona and even better you can go without feeling you may enjoy it more than the kids. The tours aren’t available on match days so plan ahead for that but the museum is open all year round to gaze at the trophies.

Magic Fountain of Montjuic

For a late night treat, the Magic Fountain of Montjuic’s sound and lighting show will have kids (and yourselves) mesmerised. Pumping 2600 litres of water into the fountain per second it is as impressive a water fountain show as they come.

Barconoleta Beach

Sand, Sea and Sangria (for the adults) never fails to be enjoyable for the whole family so it is essential that on your family trip to Barcelona you spend at least an afternoon on the beach.

There are a few in and around Barcelona and water parks will never fail to keep kids entertained for a day. In fact, if a family of two retirees and two twenty-something kids with partners can have a great day out, then a young fmaily is on to a winner.
